Evardi Boshoff starts in the Ospreys midfield for Friday night’s Vodacom URC match against the Sharks at Kings Park.
Boshoff returned to the Welsh club after last year’s Currie Cup as part of a loan partnership agreement with the Cheetahs.
The former UCT star has made 14 appearances for them this season across the URC and Challenge Cup.
DRC-born Daniel Kasende, who signed a permanent deal with Ospreys from the Cheetahs last October, is on the right wing.
TEAM: Sharks suffer Bok blow for Ospreys clash
Ospreys are 11th on the URC log, three points outside the playoffs, and also face the Lions on their South African tour.
“We know the Sharks are a high-quality outfit with a lot of household names, but they’ve also got some great depth with their young talent coming through as well,” said coach Mark Jones.
“We’ve prepared as well as we can for them, but we’ve put a lot of focus on ourselves for these last two games. The key for us to be the best version of ourselves on the night, when we’ve done that this year, we’ve been a tough side to play against.”
