Springbok world champion RG Snyman is the big winner in Leinster’s 2024-25 awards courtesy of a standout maiden campaign for the Irish club.
Snyman has walked away with the Player of the Year and Supporters’ Player of the Year accolades as the towering lock was rewarded for an impressive season which is still continuing – he could add a second Vodacom URC winner’s medal to his collection, with Leo Cullen’s men the front-runners in the title race.

Since joining the club from rivals Munster, the 30-year-old double World Cup winner has made 18 appearances, including 10 starts, and scored four tries.
Snyman’s offloading game has made the Bok ‘Viking’ a cult figure in Dublin, while his decision to sign a contract extension with Leinster in March may have been influenced by former Bok coach Jacques Nienaber, who joined the club after the 2023 World Cup.
