Kennedy Tsimba could be entrusted to lead the Bulls Legends’ attack as they gear up for Sunday’s exhibition match against their Cheetahs counterparts in Bloemfontein.
Tsimba, who played a large part of his provincial rugby for the Cheetahs, joins Tian Schoeman and Louis Fouche as the other former Free Staters now running out for the Bulls. And all three were highly capable flyhalves in their day.
The legends’ clash kicks-off at 12:30pm and will be the curtain-raiser for the Cheetahs’ second match against Georgia’s Black Lion at Free State Stadium.
The Bulls Legends team also feature the likes of Delarey du Preez, John Mametsa and Bees Roux.
Bulls president Willem Strauss says it’s the first of many such matches with the goal of keeping former players more involved in the sport.
