A Super Rugby Pacific star is set to join Leicester Tigers at the end of the season.

According to The Telegraph, Crusaders and Wallabies flyhalf James O’Connor has turned down an offer from French Top 14 club Racing 92 and signed a one-year deal with Leicester instead.

The 34-year-old, who has 64 Test caps, will replace Handre Pollard, who returns to the Vodacom Bulls after playing for the Tigers in Saturday’s English Premiership final against Bath at Twickenham.
