The Lions have confirming another key retention as they lock in emerging talent.
The latest to commit is promising loosehead prop SJ Kotze, who has put pen to paper on a deal that will keep him at Ellis Park until June 2029.
The 23-year-old former Junior Springbok is regarded as one of the Lions’ most exciting young forwards.
Kotze’s extension follows a recent wave of re-signings at the union, with Springboks Ruan Venter, Quan Horn and Morne van den Berg all committing their futures to the Lions last month.
