Japan coach Eddie Jones believes Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu has added a whole new dimension to the Springbok attack after another standout display at Wembley.
The 23-year-old playmaker continued his breakout season with another classy performance in the Springboks’ 61-7 demolition of the Brave Blossoms at Wembley on Saturday – crossing for two tries and slotting three conversions for a personal haul of 16 points.

It was his fourth consecutive start in the green and gold, and even opposition coach Jones couldn’t help but rave about the young Bok’s game-changing influence.
“I’m impressed by his leg speed; he has got serious, quick feet, and he is a big guy at 10,” said the Japan boss. “He’s got a fantastic fend too, so you give him half an opportunity and he is gone. He gives South Africa a different threat.”

Jones, who has seen his fair share of Springbok sides over the decades, said Feinberg-Mngomezulu’s ability to combine running threat with tactical control makes him a rare asset in a team known for its power and precision.
“They’ve always had the aerial threat, but now they have a running threat if they get fast ball – and we stood off him once, and he made us pay,” Jones admitted.

The former England and Wallabies mentor believes Feinberg-Mngomezulu is far from the finished product, but his ceiling is sky-high.
“If he can continue to develop his game, learn when to play fast and when to play slow, he is going to be one hell of a player.”
Jones also gave credit to South Africa’s trademark aerial dominance – an area that left Japan exposed throughout the Test.
“We were beaten badly there,” he conceded. “We don’t play that kind of game at all in Japan, and we were found out today. Everything South Africa kicks, they kick for a contest, and their accuracy and their ability to challenge in the air is absolutely outstanding.”
