Captain Victor Sekekete will earn his 100th Cheetahs cap in Friday’s Currie Cup match against Griquas in Bloemfontein.
The 31-year-old lock joined the Cheetahs in 2020 from Griquas.
Coach Frans Steyn has made four changes to the starting line-up that beat the Lions last weekend to remain at the top of the log.
In the pack, Hencus van Wyk starts at loosehead prop with Cameron Dawson dropping down to the bench, while debutant John-Kelly Okonkwo starts at tighthead prop and Frankie Dos Reis is among the reserves.
Among the backs, Carel-Jan Coetzee shifts to inside centre with Marco Janse van Vuren at 13.
Ali Mgijima and Pierre-Raymond Uys also come on the bench.

“I feel blessed and honoured to have the privilege to be playing my 100th for the Cheetahs,” said Sekekete. “It’s a dream come true.
“If you walk into the change rooms and see the names of the legends who have played here before, it’s very inspiring. It has been a motivation for me.”
Kick-off on Friday is at 5pm.
