Only a limited number of tickets are still available for the second Greatest Rivalry Test at Cape Town Stadium on 29 August.
General ticket sales opened on Monday following last week’s pre-sale for registered buyers, and demand has been strongest for the Cape Town Test, News24 reports.
The prices of the remaining tickets range from R1,650 to R4,000, with the more affordable R850 tickets, at what is the smallest of the three venues hosting Tests in South Africa, quickly snapped up.
Cape Town Stadium came under scrutiny recently over high ticket pricing for international matches and a sales process that previously included a controversial lottery system. But this has done little to dampen interest in the All Blacks encounter which is part of a four-Test series between the leading rugby nations in world rugby.

Ellis Park, which will host the opening Test of the series on 22 August, still had a small number of R850 tickets available, with most remaining seats priced at R1,650 and R2,850.
Ticket sales for the third Test at the cavernous FNB Stadium on 5 September have been steadier, which is expected given the venue’s capacity of 94,700. All pricing categories remain available, ranging from R400 to R4,000.
