Bok No 8 Jasper Wiese saw red for a headbutt against Italy last year, yet England prop Ellis Genge escaped with only a penalty for a similar incident on Saturday.
The latter occurred in the 13th minute of the Six Nations clash at Twickenham, when Wales flank Alex Mann got under Genge’s skin and the prop retaliated.
England were leading 10-0 at the time and went on to win 48-7.
Wiese saw red in the 21st minute of the second Test in Port Elizabeth for a headbutt on Italy prop Danilo Fischetti and later received a four-match ban.

This was horribly stupid from Genge.
Likely not enough for a citing, but could have been worse in game.pic.twitter.com/dJ8Qwqo187
