Sunday’s EPCR Challenge Cup match between the Cheetahs and Ulster has been moved to a new venue with a new kick-off time.

Due to brutally cold conditions, the Municipality of Amsterdam has declared all municipal sports pitches unplayable until further notice.

As a result, the clash will no longer be played at the NRCA Stadium in the city, but behind closed doors at Dukes Rugby in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.

Kick-off will be 3pm (SA time).

“Due to the late change in venue, the fixture will now be played behind closed doors,” EPCR said in a statement. “All ticket purchasers will be entitled to a full refund, minus the admin fee.

“EPCR, Rugby Nederland and the Cheetahs are continuing to monitor weather conditions, should these further impact the fixture.

“EPCR understands all fans travelling to the match will be disappointed at this decision; however, player and match officials’ safety must prevail.”
