Springbok captain Siya Kolisi is set to cut short his stay with the Sharks and head back to Cape Town.
According News24, Kolisi has agreed to rejoin the Stormers at the end of the current Vodacom URC season.
The Sharks initially insisted the 34-year-old honour his contract in Durban, but finally relented.
Kolisi, who began his professional career with the Stormers before moving on to the Sharks and French club Racing 92, had been eager to return to Cape Town earlier to be closer to his children following his divorce from his wife, Rachel.

The Sharks, who paid a R17-million fee to release Kolisi from Racing, were reluctant to lose such a marquee signing, but circumstances appear to have shifted.
The news has reportedly already been communicated to Kolisi’s Sharks teammates, who have enjoyed an upturn in results under interim coach JP Pietersen.
