Irish giants Leinster are counting the cost of their Investec Champions Cup win over Harlequins on Saturday, with several high-profile players injured.
Lock RG Snyman’s match ended inside the first quarter of Leinster’s 45-28 victory after he took a knock to the shoulder, leaving the field in clear discomfort.
Head coach Leo Cullen couldn’t offer any clarity afterwards, but admitted the worry is real.
“RG was just a bit uncomfortable, but again I don’t know. He’ll go off, get a scan or X-ray or whatever’s going on there,” said Cullen.
The South African enforcer has only recently played his way back into form, making the timing of the setback particularly cruel for Leinster as the Champions Cup schedule tightens.

Cullen’s night became even more complicated when winger Jordan Larmour, who scored twice and was a key attacking threat, limped off in the final 10 minutes. The coach didn’t hide which injury troubled him most.
“Jordan is probably the most significant of them all, I think. But again, early days, so don’t quote me on it, he’s done something there I think. Straight away he was uncomfortable, so we’ll get him assessed.”
Centre Garry Ringrose also finished the match under attention, though Cullen suggested it was “just cramp”.
