The All Blacks have moved up in the World Rugby rankings despite missing out on the Rugby Championship title.

New Zealand’s 28-14 win against Australia in Perth saw them leapfrog Ireland into second spot after picking up 0.74 of a ranking point.

The No 1-ranked Springboks added 0.28 to their tally after edging Argentina 29-27 at Twickenham to retain the Rugby Championship crown.

Los Pumas remain sixth and the Wallabies seventh.
