France have suffered another injury setback ahead of their November Tests.

Toulon winger Gabin Villiere, who has not played since July because of a finger issue, recently underwent surgery for a groin problem and will not be available for Les Bleus’ end-of-year campaign.

France will host the Springboks in Paris on 8 November before facing Fiji and the Wallabies on consecutive weekends.

The 29-year-old started two of France’s three defeats to New Zealand in July, when regular wings Damian Penaud and Louis Bielle-Biarrey were rested.
