There had been signs that Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu could become a really good Springbok, but against the Wallabies in Brisbane last year, he showed he belonged on the Test stage in the most emphatic way possible.

The 33-7 win was the first time the Springboks had beaten the Wallabies in Brisbane since 2013.

The 22-year-old Stormers pivot – who had been given the responsibility to guide the attack in the absence of the injured Handre Pollard – was successful with four of six attempts at goal, but it was his ‘soft-skills’ that were most impressive. His passes were well-weighted, he ran well and wasn’t afraid to put in the big tackles.
