The British & Irish Lions have a very clear goal on their undefeated tour of Australia so far, and one of the new Lions feels they have the firepower to achieve it.

Henry Pollock has declared that the 2025 British & Irish Lions are on a mission to make history by whitewashing the Wallabies and cementing their place as the greatest Lions team of all time.

Speaking ahead of Saturday’s first Test in Brisbane, the 20-year-old England loose forward didn’t hold back on the squad’s ambition.

“We want to come here and be the best Lions team ever,” said Pollock.

“We have been talking about that loads and 3-0 is definitely on the table, hopefully. We are all trying to strive to being the best team we can be and get that 3-0 win.”

A 3-0 sweep of Australia would be a feat not achieved since 1904, with the most recent series in 1989, 2001, and 2013 all ending 2-1.

Pollock, who only made his England debut in March, has made a meteoric rise and is pushing hard for a spot in Andy Farrell’s Test 23, despite intense competition in the loose forward department.

“I am happy to play wherever in the back row, whether that is at six, seven or eight, I will adjust and try my best,” he said.

“If that is me playing or not playing then I will adjust and be the best player I can be.”

With the Lions riding a wave of five straight tour wins, Pollock says the squad is hungry to finish the job in style.
