The Vodacom Bulls have confirmed the signing of a Springbok centre ahead of the 2025-26 season.
Jan Serfontein, who last played for the Bulls in 2017 before joining Montpellier, is returning to Pretoria following the end of his contract with the French club in June.
Talks to bring the 35-Test midfielder back last year fell through due to his pending French citizenship application. However, with that resolved, Serfontein will reunite with the Bulls – the team he represented from 2013 and 2017 – on an initial three-year deal.
He will play alongside Springbok flyhalf Handre Pollard, who recently returned to Pretoria after stints with Montpellier and Leicester Tigers.

The Bulls also confirmed that former Stormers scrumhalf Paul de Wet has signed a one-season deal.
