Bulls bruiser Wilco Louw will lead the line at tighthead for the Boks in 2025, according to SARugbymag.co.za readers.

With two-time World Cup winner Frans Malherbe sidelined indefinitely, readers were polled on which tighthead would anchor the Springbok scrum this year. Louw was the runaway favourite, receiving more than 75% of the vote, while English Premiership champion Thomas du Toit was second choice with just under 10%.

Lions heavyweight Asenathi Ntlabakanye, who earned his first Bok start in Saturday’s 54-7 win against the Barbarians ranked third with roughly 8% of votes.
